FROM THE POET

This is a series of poems written by John Svododa over a number of years. There are times of peak-where numerous poems were written & there are also times of lows where there are long periods between each poem. As the author is trying to reach a goal of 1001 (and then retire!!) it was never envisaged that this would be done over a short period of time. Poems can be humorous, ridiculing someone or something, show a meaning of hurt or love or even project feelings that not necessarily be directed to the same person/thing, can be a reflection of life or to be life. Most poems are trying to send a message to the reader be it not understandable or nonsense.

The idea of this poet is not to have any ill feelings against anyone but to be read by young whom can learn about life – and by the elderly look back at what could have been. Some are very personal- but who cares when you are currently living in a life that has total enjoyment. Suggestion is not to criticize but to take in the enjoyment of creative poetry make it meaningful and thus may be you can be an author.

Poem Number - 'Special Living Day' - 1/1/2015

Lord God, we pray that you forgive us of all our sins,
We pray that you see your love within all our lives,
Lord God, we thank you for the life on earth you have given each of us.
It is within each of our lives that you have made each person special.

Lord God, we pray for eternal peace, love and understanding of each individual person,
We pray that as loving individuals we do not commit sins against anyone,
We pray all people's and anyone's belief s in their own religion are united as one,
We pray for anyone's so called, 'enemy' to become our own friend.

Lord God, we pray that people listen, learn and give time to your 'Holy Word'!
We pray that our politicians, church/religious and community leaders, preach the 'Right Words',
We pray that all people around the world are given food and fed daily,
We pray that the one that can give: can give from their heart, rightfully.

Lord God, it is for you only that we live and breathe,
Lord God, is for you that we pray from the New Year: for your 'breath of life',
Lord God, we pray for others that don't have time to pray,
And finally, Lord God, we pray you make all of our lives happy in every special living day.
Amen

Poem Number - Is It All About Me? 2/6/2014

Is it all about me that lives in this world,
Is it all about me to have followed my parents,
Is it all about me to complete my high school education,
Is it all about me to grow up and and have friends.

Is it all about me to bring home a girlfriend,
Is it all about me to advertise my love for someone else,
Is it all about me that a woman chose myself for everlasting love,
Is it all about me to ridicule others an not feel shame.

Is it all about me that d the married the woman to share my life,
Is it all about me that we are from different backgrounds,
Is it all about me that both my wife and myself have children.
Is it all about me that I took a stand for Public Transport
                           within the community.

Is it all about me that I can speak to one another openly
                           to hundreds,
Is it all about me that every day I worry what lies ahead,
Is it all about me I have humiliated others by leaving
                     provocation of the community.

Is it all about me that I ashamed others for not finishing a job
Is it all about me that others are happy and I may be sad,
Is it all about  seme that I need be loved by others,
Is it all about me that I have served and not served more,
Is it all about me and not about loving my beautiful wife.

Is it all about me and not listening to God's call,
Is it all about me doing something bad rather than not at all,
Is it all about me that makes the world listen,
Is it all about me that I know when to turn one.

All I wanted in my life since my father passed away,
Is the world and our community to have each person a happy day,
Now time has come to place closure of what I have done as a
                               community group,
And a new page in my life is now to care for the people in my
                               family group.

I ask f no one to judge myself  of my actions,
I ask that we care and love one another,
As God and Jesus so truly love you,
I ask this on behalf of The Father, Son and The Holy Spirit.

Poem Number 259 - As The Shepherds Will Flock.... - 3/2/1988

I say to you people of Christianity,
‘Let us all listen carefully with time in our hands,
Ears open to any minute noise of words spoken,
And with eyes enlightened with the words and gifts God gives us’.

My children and brothers, ‘It is so true, I heard,
That our society is not keeping up with the teaching of God,
Even by stopping for one minute of the day to give time to God,
Is this true that we are all blind: not seeing the buildings in our hearts collapse?

Dear children, it is not too late to do your bit everyday,
It is not up to the world to stop for you,
It is the choice of yours to find the right moment,
To give a little of your inexpensive life: to God’s honour.

Pray to God for complete forgiveness,
And pray for eternal peace to everyone on earth,
Pray love for all the people who are deep at heart,
Even the souls whom have departed from the earth.

If you don’t want to pray, then read a few verses from the bible,
To show understanding of God’s preaching of love and peace on earth, years ago.
Forgiving sins of everyone forever more,
Making the people in hearts grows rich, but health is poor.

For there are lots and lots of many ways and things to do,
But only you as God’s individual Christian can decide for self.
So bring the good news of God deeper into our world,
As the shepherds flock, until the good words are told.

Poem Number 203 - Without Any Hell - 16/2/1987

They that change to hurt one’s desire,
They that enforce the law and the order,
They that direct, by more than one language,
Are they the ones who’ll end up being in hell, like guinea pigs?

Anger and fully inflamed emotions don’t disappear,
They continue each every single day, to grow the hatred against the others,
Disappointment is a momentous occasions with each minute,
Then verbal disagreance appears. They want to exploit your mistake!

To them, you put on a brilliant show of appreciation,
Daily, ‘thanks’ and ‘thankyou’s’ are only said by you.
When you turn around, the whispers are silent,’
And then while you are looking ahead, there are increases in voices sounds.

They’ll storm down through your pathways,
They’ll come running down with whips, touching your back.
They’ll threaten you in all ways, but one:
The one you are self-forced, in to do.

Mother’s nature and god’s mankind, is out there somewhere,
Trying not to commit all of ‘The T en Commandments’,
Trying to lesson the individual human’s pressures from outsiders,
Making life so easy to enter heaven, without any hell.

Poem Number 166 - - And God Made Women - 8/9/1986

As my thoughts show a cool water stream,
And a tri-colored rainbow glowing,
Tall eucalyptus trees reaching so high,
To feel the sweat of the summer’s day, come to an end.

A yonder the stream, is my true naked woman,
A clothes peg in her mouth, as she is hanging out the clothes.
Just before I see her, she tries to cover herself before, as I stare,
My eyes sparkling from her shoulders to her toe, they don’t want to change their sight.

After a tiring expedition, I feel buggered,
My bones from shoulders to toe don’t want to move.
But there is no political, persona or social worries,
There’s Carla and me, just bare and rare.

A pitched tent with little food to eat,
Sheets of sheets, to keep us at sleep.
No technological communication can be seen or heard,
No education of any kind to be taught.

I blink my eyes as I am left speechless,
And all I know is that both our interests are at best.
In the middle of nowhere, but somewhere,
Her sexual body and body language turn me on.

Dropped down is my spear of wealth,
Carla, she so beautiful, dives into this cool stream.
Splashes of water splurge onto the soil and rock ledges aside,
For a short moment, she can’t be seen and her head reappears.

Like a goldfish jumping out of a small fish-bowl to a large,
As I watch with interest, her body pushed out of the stream,
From the head to the sensuous breasts,
To a comfort lovable vagina, to the likable feet of the world.

I bring myself towards her so warm, tense body,
Her mouth drops to meet mine and tangle tongues together.
I tight-wrap her by locking my arms and hands around her,
She responds by forcing her breasts upon my chest.

My emotions take over and I’m left with sexual desires,
To no surprise, my pennies had entered her vagina, with ease.
Her breath was getting faster. Her legs spreading apart, wider,
‘And God made woman so that man………’

Poem Number 158 - In Sickness And In Health..... - 26/8/1986

‘In sickness and in health…’it is known to be said,
By both woman and man who decide to join hands and marry.
But now-a-days, does none care for the health of the other?
Can one still show some real love for one’s weakness?

For the man or woman, that is suffering from terminal illness,
Do you just comfort them with kisses, touch and love,
Or do you just neglect them and let them be sick?
And while doing so say, “I’ll be back in a tick!”

For any kind-hearted human of god’s creatures,
Would surely not ill-treat or not treat at all!
Their own blood-sake fellow men and women,
And leave them out to die on their own.

Help you brotherly needed fellows,
To strengthen in love, personality and prosperity,
And to attain the highest degree of quality,
With all the extra requirements of quality.

Poem Number 124 - Think Of Her First - 28/6/1986

Don’t get married with your eyes closed!
Don’t lie to the,” me” that you love!
Share secrets and converse in a no “a-hide”,
Just don’t make your tie into a loose end.

Maybe, you cannot tell her one thing,
But first think at your first agreement.
Speak as you would: kiss and caress,
Listen as you would be touched and loved.

Just don’t feel too cautious to the person you love,
Just be yourself, but think of her first.
She will love you at all her expensive heart,
Just don’t do a thing wrong, to split both of you apart.

Please listen to the one, with interest!
Please listen and see if there’s any personal repair!
But don’t just ponder and waste all your time,
Take firm hold of her hands and look directly at her face.

Say what you mean to say to her,
Say with controlled emotions and feelings,
Don’t stop! Don’t stop now or even later!
For if you stop the end will be near.

If it be four letters or more,
If you speak as if you are poor,
If only you give and not only take,
There will be shared rewards, of such beautiful love.

Take to the altar of the highest,
Tell her your plans and your future.
Ask her for her love and compassion,
And this will lead you closer, to the gates of heaven.

Squeeze her tight of all her anguish,
Suppress her with mountains of dreams and wishes,
For then she will respond to you,
To all your actions and words.

If you wish to see through others,
Let the others see you at large.
For your friends will be friends,
Of which (in bits and pieces), reflects you.

Wash away your sinful reactions,
Cleanse it with blessed soap of purity,
For they shall be, whom of which, will be,
The ’now important’ or ‘later disinterested’.

Throw away your keys to open doors,
Throw away the bad from the good.
Accept a more cleanly respectable life,
So beside you, you have the same in ‘wife’.

Patience of waiting for the time of life-today,
Where the wedding bells ring to chime,
To a happy paid reception, asking no parents for a dime,
To a crystal white remembrance: day and night.

Oh, for the Son of God!
Oh, for the father of all men!
Let all this true happiness of love,
Come from the imaginary, all above.

Poem Number 77 - Strike Or No Stirke! - 17/10/1984

It’s a good thing that God never had,
“Never go on strike!”
Because Jesus wasn’t treated fair,
On the good work, he had done.

If he once sat down and said,
“That’s it! I’m through!
I’ve had enough of those on earth,
So this is what I’ll do:

I’ll give my commands to the sun,
And cut off your heat supply,
And to the moon, no light will be seen,
And lastly, run the oceans dry!

And just to make it really tough,
And put the pressure on-
Turn off the oxygen,
Till everyone’s breath is gone.”

May say they want a better deal,
And so, “On strike”, they go,
But what a deal, we’ve given God,
To whom the world, we owe.

Some don’t care, whom we hurt,
To gain the things we like.
What a mess we’d all be in,
If in God should go, “On strike!”

Poem Number 71 - Carol, Still So Young - 5/6/1987

A dearest person I know for quite a long time,
Always bright and thoughtful, with consideration.
Carol, still so young with a lively heart, ever breathing,
To her, everyone she knows is part of her living.

Sometimes, I regret having arguments with her,
But this brings out the best of survivors.
Apology is my return to Carol, if pressured by others,
As that’ll wipe off any hurt, of those worries.

Suggestive to her, I always agree but never listen,
As Carol to me, seems to know about any man’s reaction.
You can’t tell carol is a stupid woman,
As young as she is, she really shows her brilliance.

At times, since I’ve known her, she is somewhat mixed up,
Not knowing which result and direction, she’ll take.
It’s funny, as to me we are just good friends,
Even if one of us leaves work, our friendship will never end.

I do feel like a male chauvinist-pig,
If I win any fights, between us,
But at least, I’ll eventually think twice,
To keep us in our peace and paradise.

If any-a-time Carol needs me,
To listen or talk too quite freely,
I will immediately stop everything,
Lend a hand, ear or anything.

God, carol loves the life she’s living,
Do not harm for any part of her life,
As I can understand her, when she decides to be a wife,
Not wanting to bring in this world, a little child.

Poem Number 68 - God's Call To Lana - 26/5/1984

A terrible shock came to our good friends,  my Meme's family,
A shock that might have slightly changed, some people’s destiny.
May a special short life be raised,
Opening up, to the gates of heaven.

Please light up a candle,
That has been unlit,
As all of us can not handle,
All this bad news, all of it!

For a girl, who had just recently entered a new world,
By the love and care of two wonderful parents.
She, who could not yet speak, hear or understand what was being told to her,
May we send to her, all our love and sentiments.

May God let Lanna’s soul be accepted, in his kingdom,
So that she may live her new life,
In a place she will be happy forever,
And what has happened will remain in our past.

To Lanna’s grandmother, who had just turned seventy: is sad,
As Lanna was her only grand daughter, carrying the Meme's family name
But Meme is strong and will love all her children,
And her grandchildren, right to the end.

God bless this young soul! And her parents!
God, we question you no more,
As you have called for Lanna,
To enter your own kingdom, of beauty and happiness!
