FROM THE POET

This is a series of poems written by John Svododa over a number of years. There are times of peak-where numerous poems were written & there are also times of lows where there are long periods between each poem. As the author is trying to reach a goal of 1001 (and then retire!!) it was never envisaged that this would be done over a short period of time. Poems can be humorous, ridiculing someone or something, show a meaning of hurt or love or even project feelings that not necessarily be directed to the same person/thing, can be a reflection of life or to be life. Most poems are trying to send a message to the reader be it not understandable or nonsense.

The idea of this poet is not to have any ill feelings against anyone but to be read by young whom can learn about life – and by the elderly look back at what could have been. Some are very personal- but who cares when you are currently living in a life that has total enjoyment. Suggestion is not to criticize but to take in the enjoyment of creative poetry make it meaningful and thus may be you can be an author.

Poem Number 283 - Beautiful Wives - 5/5/1998

He who is shy to meet beautiful woman,
He who is strong in physique and yet weighs very little,
He needs that extra push of a friendly nature,
For fulfil his requirements of life and complete his own future.

Yes he owns no little items of self-interest,
Sends waves of gifts to request conscious satisfaction,
And yet he that suddenly ponders continually of a woman of a
    beating heart,
Opening her worlds of continual life to a man who's never been seen.

Whilst  action of tenderness grows in each one's body,
The  motions of long distance feeling relate to each other.
For he  that plans to marry with enormous love to another's heart,
Creates a new living standard  of control of ones art.

To me, to help a friend of mine  find the love of love,
To explain in detail  how a relative will marry him about.
For overall joy will everlasting fill the earth of both their lives?
For dreams of every man's ideas, will harvest a reward by
       marrying beautiful wives.

Let  he be free to do what he will do,
Let her hold  his hands for everlasting life,
Let the two of them be kissed by the fresh wind in the air,
Let their food be mixed with them, both cildren to bear.
